In this project, my task was to recreate any vehicle of my choice, using Maya and Unreal Engine to display the finished work. What I chose to build was the SR-71 Blackbird, this iconic recon stealth jet is a beautiful machine with its smooth shape and the blade-like edge. The jet was a difficult build as this was the first model that I had to build, the hardest section had the be the engines of the jet. The business end of this model proved to be quite difficult, because of the irregular design of the jet engine that the original had. The finished model, in the end, was just as beautiful as the original.
